Drafted 27th overall in the 1999 NBA Draft. 2001 Eastern Conference Champion and NBA Finals starter with the Philadelphia 76ers alongside Allen Iverson. Eight years in the NBA: 76ers, Cavaliers, Celtics, Lakers, Bobcats, Suns.
Eight more years internationally across Italy, Russia, Israel, Bulgaria, and Mexico. Gold Medalist. 16 years of professional basketball at the highest level.
After basketball, Dr. Jones earned his doctorate and founded Beyond the Hardwood, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit deploying retired professional athletes into corporate, school, nonprofit, and community settings nationwide through a patent-pending deployment system. Not a speaker's bureau. A system.
